The District has launched an online survey

For many people with ideas on how to best reduce single-use plastics here in town, you now have a chance to speak up.

The District of Squamish is looking for suggestions, and you can give input via an online survey it’s put up on its website.

This survey arrives after council voted in favour of working towards having a plastic reduction in effect by the end of this year.

“Reducing single use plastics – beginning with plastic check-out bags and straws – is one initiative where the District of Squamish is focusing its efforts,” reads the introduction to the District survey.

“We are looking for community input that will help shape the bylaw.”

Those interested in checking out the survey can do so here.
