SD48 is reporting about 20 students and one staff member were affected by potential exposure at Garibaldi Highlands Elementary between May 4 and 5.
In the meantime, the school district told The Chief on May 12 that 100% of its staff have had access to the vaccine.Spokesperson Jennifer Morris said access has been given to both instructional and non-instructional staff.
This includes people such as teachers, student support workers, principals/vice principals, office administrative assistants, librarians/counsellors, building engineers/custodians, food services, on-site daycare and pre-school staff, and bus drivers.
