The alleged events happened in Vancouver, according to court documents.
Vancouver Provincial Court
A trial has been set for Oct. 22, 2024.

A B.C. man has pleaded not guilty to four sex-related charges involving a minor and is due to go on trial in October.

A court information filed July 18, 2023 alleged the man sexually assaulted the child between April 20, 2019 and May 12, 2019 in Vancouver.

On the same dates, there are two charges alleging he touched the child for a sexual purpose.

The information alleged the man was in a position of authority on whom the child was dependant, in relation to two charges where there was sexual touching.

Glacier Media has chosen not the use the man’s name due to the fact the child was in a state of dependency on him and could be identified as a result.

A pretrial conference was held April 24 with trial set for Oct. 22.
