Squamish conservationist John Buchanan shot this underwater footage of Mashiter Creek.
The Mashiter is one of the streams Buchanan is responsible for monitoring — counting fish in — for the Squamish Streamkeepers.
"We keep counts to see what the status of the returning salmon is," he told The Chief
"So far, the pink salmon return is looking good."
Every two years, on the odd year, there's a pink salmon run.
