North Vancouver RCMP say a hiker at Mount Seymour has been found deceased Saturday after being lost.
Local Mounties made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter) Saturday afternoon. North Vancouver RCMP, North Shore Rescue and other first responders are currently on the scene.
The post does not mention the cause of death.
Police say they are unable to share further information at this time due to privacy reasons.
"Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of the hiker," North Vancouver RCMP said in the post.
