The RCMP Musical Ride will return to Burnaby this summer after a five-year absence.

The ride will take place at Swanguard Stadium during the final week of June, as part of a cross-Canada tour marking the 150th anniversary of the RCMP in Canada.

"It's an honour to host the 2023 Musical Ride in Burnaby – it's such a great show," Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley said in a news release.

"It's a wonderful event that we’re thrilled to have back in our community and to have it join the growing lineup of exciting events that are happening in our city throughout the year."

The Musical Ride features 32 RCMP riders and horses showcasing equestrian skill through different formations and calvary drills set to music.

Tickets are $15 each (children under five are free) and go on sale starting May 2 with proceeds supporting Cops for Cancer and Honour House.

Gates are set to open at 5 p.m. on June 26 with the main performance scheduled for 7 p.m.

Ticket and event information is available online.
