Vancouver-born actor Ryan Reynolds shared a one-year-anniversary tribute to the B.C.-filmed movie "The Adam Project."

Vancouver's favourite actor (confirmed by locals) has starred in several Vancouver-filmed movies.

In addition to Deadpool, which opened with a highway fight scene on the Georgia Viaduct, Ryan Reynolds was most recently in town to film The Adam Project.

The movie, which quickly became the number one film on Netflix shortly after its debut on March 11, 2022, filmed all over B.C.

The Adam Project follows a time-travelling pilot (Reynolds) who teams up with his younger self to save the future. Directed by Shawn Levy, known for his work on Night at the Museum and who also worked with Reynolds on Free Guy, the cast includes Hollywood stars Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Zoe Saldaña.

Now a year since its Netflix premiere, Reynolds shared a charming one-year-anniversary tribute to the The Adam Project or "as it's more commonly known, '14 Going On 31'," the actor jokes; a nod to co-star Garner who is also known for her role in the rom-com 13 Going On 30.

"I love this movie because it feels like the kind of film I grew up with. The kind of film that made me dream of doing this job. Working with this incredible cast was unspeakably fun," shares Reynolds. "This film holds a soft spot in our hearts forever."

Both Garner and Ruffalo replied to Reynolds post.

"Time traveling with you all? A no-brainer. Great times," commented Ruffalo while Garner called The Adam Project the "best movie experience ever."
