Squamish's Chris Haywood's motorbike, a 1949 Indian Arrow, won the People's Choice Award at the Squamish Motorcycle Festival on Saturday, July 10.
"It is my baby," Haywood said, after the Show and Shine win.
This was his first year at the festival, said Haywood, who originally hails from Australia.

The festival included the Show and Shine, stunt riders, vendors, food and live entertainment.
About 100 bikes lined the streets as riders checked out the event.
Haywood bought the 220cc machine from an online buy-and-sell forum.
"It started out as a box of rusty pieces. It was missing a lot of things I didn't know were missing," he said, adding it took four years to track all the parts he needed down to get the bike road ready.
"The parts are 70 years old now, so hard to come by," he said.
