A colourful garden of daffodils to Norm Halvorson for generously sharing his beloved dahlias to brighten our special day!
-A grateful bride and groom
Hiking-boot-shaped daffodils to the family who helped a terrified hiker get down at Malamute on Saturday. Thanks for physically and emotionally helping me down and for the hugs and kind words.
-Terrified hiker
Parade-float-shaped darts to the company that docked the pay of its workers who went into the Squamish Days parade on the company float. Shame on you. We need more community spirit, not less!
-Disgruntled customer
A boatload of daffodils to the SYC volunteers and race team, sponsors Nesters Market and Navis Marine insurance for a successful BC Sailing Championships regatta.
-Garry Cotter (Regatta Chair)
Darts to the extremely high rental prices. Landowners seem to be taking extreme advantage of the lack of rentable space in Squamish. Tiny basement suites are going for more than $1,000. It’s crazy.
-A frustrated renter
Daffodils to the swamped planning and building department at the District of Squamish. While they are overflowing with building applications, staff still take the time to answer questions. Thank you.
- A future builder
