It pays to shop at Home Depot with people like Penny behind the till.

A carload of daffodils to Patty’s Ladybug Cancer Fund for the generous donation to the Squamish CancerCar program. The clients and their families and the drivers very much appreciate the support!

Anyone wishing for information about this free ride program for cancer patients can call 604-390-3331.

Another bouquet of daffodils to Canadian Tire for matching the $1,000 donations of Climb-On, Valhalla and Escape Route for the Mamquam River Campground.”

Daffodils to the organizers that transformed downtown Squamish into a Pumpkin Patch last weekend for all the little children. They had a blast and I hope the event becomes an annual activity.

Beer mugs full of daffodils to the organizers of Oktoberfest at the Howe Sound Brew Pub. It was amazing and for a good cause. Everyone there had a blast.

A truck load of daffodils to the nice person that hauled an oven up to Squamish.

Darts to people letting off fireworks in neighbourhoods. I have two pets and they get very afraid with all the loud “bangs.” It’s also not safe.

Daffodils to Vancouver Aquarium for releasing the seal pups into Howe Sound. It will be interesting to track the animals and learn more about their activities.

Darts to the rough road conditions down to Newport Beach. It is an embarrassment to the community.
