Birder Chris Dale spotted something unique when he was out at the Squamish Spit Thursday morning.
He watched a bald eagle swoop down and grab a fish, but it was too heavy to lift, so the determined eagle started swimming toward a log.
"I started filming after the eagle had already been swimming for over five minutes," Dale said.
