'Flight of Pegasus' talk set

Campbell to share story of award-winning experimental aircraft tonight

A story of adventure both on the ground and in the air will unfold for attendees of this month's Squamish Historical Society Speaker Series talk.

Squamish resident Glenne Campbell, well known as an Emmy-nominated TV costume designer, will share the story of a cutting-edge experimental aircraft built by her and her late husband Ron in a talk titled "The Flight of Pegasus" tonight (March 14) at 7 p.m. at the Brackendale Art Gallery.

The Pegasus, which Glenne and Ron Campbell flew across North America, was awarded the title of Grand Champion of Custom Built Aircraft in Oshkosh, Wisc. In 2011, Glenne shared her story at the Interesting Vancouver symposium, and in November 2012 at the inaugural Squamish Culture and Heritage Festival at Quest University.

Admission to tonight's talk is by donation.
