Have you ever wondered what goes on at Under One Roof (UOR) but been too shy to check it out?
Well then, this may be the event for you.
UOR is hosting an Open House on Thursday, June 2nd at UOR with partners and colleagues from Squamish Helping Hands, Vancouver Coastal Health, Squamish Nation, the Squamish Public Library, Howe Sound Women Centre, Sea to Sky Community Services, Pride Squamish, the District Bylaw department, the RCMP, the District of Squamish and the mobile outreach team, Street Reach.
Organizers say it is a drop-in-style event for the public (think mocktails and mingle).
It is an opportunity to connect, learn, educate and seek feedback around topics of mental health and housing in Squamish.
"We will have food, mocktails, prizes and music. People will drop in and hopefully stay for 20 to 30 minutes. Our goal is for those who attend the event to enjoy themselves, learn something, and connect with someone new," said Jonathan Hand of Street Reach Squamish in an email to The Squamish Chief.
When: June 2nd, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
