Night Market coming to downtown

'Squamish Summer Series' kicks off this Friday

Friday night is all right for shopping in Squamish thanks to the first-ever Night Market at the Park going down at Stan Clarke Park this Friday (Aug. 16) from 6 to 10 p.m.

Rachel Boguski and Shannon Lorenz, the pair behind the popular Refresh spring and Christmas markets, have combined with the District of Squamish to put on the inaugural event.

The open air venue will feature a selection of local food, curated wares, live music and other activities for attendees of all ages. There will also be more than 20 vendors present, offering items ranging from jewelry to clothing and much more.

For the kids, there is a pop-up play date, face painting and a vintage photo booth on site. Admission to the event is free and all ages are welcome.

The Night Market at the Park is the first event in the Downtown Squamish Summer Series as part of the Downtown Squamish Transformation Initiative. For more information on the event, visit www.squamish.ca/heart.
