Brenda Moores, 74, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, in Squamish, B.C., after her battle with cancer.
She had her beloved son, Brent Moores, and her best friends, Angie and Trish, by her side.
Brenda was born on Dec. 14, 1948, in Brighouse, England, to Jean and Derek Clegg.
Brenda has one brother, Steven Clegg.
Brenda touched many lives while hairdressing in Squamish for her 35-year career.
She truly loved what she did.
She leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Cailey, 23; Maddison, 16; and Jaxon, 10. Brenda is survived by her oldest son, Brent, but joins her deceased husband, Eric, and her youngest son, Scott, where they celebrated their reunion in the heavens.
The hardest battles are given to the strongest warriors; she was given the name “Iron Lady” for a reason: her strength was admirable.
Brenda’s final act of devoted mother is she waited for Brent to be by her side before slipping away; her wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
When you think of the memories, let them carry you in the sad times but mostly in the good times you shared. You will be missed but never forgotten.
