Photos: See these 56 photos of bald eagles in Squamish

Eagles usually arrive in Squamish from October through February. They can be seen in trees in the morning and in flight in the afternoon.

Eagles can be spotted all around Squamish from about October through to February.

Pretty soon, it will be time for the annual Brackendale Winter Eagle Count.

Each year, on the first Sunday after New Year’s Day, volunteers conduct the count, covering approximately 20 areas from the Elaho to downtown Squamish, and from Paradise Valley to the Stawamus River.

The count is done rain, shine or blizzard.
