Refresh Kids debuts in March

Children’s market comes to railway park

This one’s for the kids.

Since its inception in 2011, organizers Shannon Lorenz and Rachel Boguski have brought the crowds to Squamish with the Refresh Market.

Known as Squamish’s largest indie marketplace, the event started in winter then expanded into spring, and it now includes a children’s market.

The first ever Refresh Kids is dubbed as a marketplace for mothers, mothers-to-be and children under 10 and is set to take over the West Coast Railway Heritage Park on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

More than 40 vendors from the Sea to Sky Corridor and Metro Vancouver are scheduled to showcase locally designed clothing, accessories, toys and kids’ items. Organizers stated that there are also activities planned including children’s crafts, music, workshops, rope making, a DJ, snow cone bar, high tea and a photo booth.

All ages are welcome at the event. There is a small admission fee. For more information about the event, visit www.refreshkids.ca.
