Anything from a cool old coffee pot to funky old toys can be found at the fair.

You have no idea what you might find.

If you head down to Brennan Park Recreation Centre for the Re-Use-It Fair on June 11, you will find a treasure trove of gently used items that have been shared by members of the Squamish community. If you see something you like, then you can just grab it.

It’s literally that easy.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and you can drop off your materials until 1 p.m. You can bring small and large appliances in good working order, as well as gently used toys, books, clothing, baby supplies, DVDs and CDs. Furniture, household items, garden tools, and sports equipment in reasonable condition are also acceptable.

Do not bring TVs, computers, printers, or VCRs. Anything that is broken, unsafe, or damaged will not be accepted. Do not bring mattresses, out-of-date carseats or items broken beyond repair.

Hosted by Squamish CAN and the District of Squamish, the event relies on the support of volunteers. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact jules@squamishcan.net
