Squamish Newcomer Services will resume its Cultural Cooking program in October.
The Cultural Cooking Program is an opportunity for people to come together and share their native recipes and meals.
“It is a way to connect people in our community and bring them together to share their stories through the medium of food,” said a spokesperson for Squamish Newcomer Services in an email to The Squamish Chief.
“Every other month, we invite everyone to join, and our host [or hosts] will share with us how to prepare their traditional meal or their favourite dishes.”
