Squamish's darts and daffodils

Here's what readers wanted to praise or complain about this week.

Here are the daffodils for the week of June 1, 2022.

• A fire truck full of daffodils for our fire department, which rescued a neighbour's cat that had been stuck up in a tree for three days.

• Boatloads of daffodils to Donny, Lorna, Joe and Cathy, for the beautiful May 23 birthday boat ride up the Howe Sound. We almost made it to Proteau Cove before the rain hit! I had a wonderful birthday, Thank you!

•Songbooks and country music songbooks to Pierre Eady for once again coming to perform at Hilltop House. Our residents loved your indoor/outdoor concert. Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent!

•Flower beds full of daffodils (and tulips, and lavender and marigolds, and petunias) to Canadian Tire, Rona, and Home Depot, for once again donating all the annuals to Hilltop House's resident garden areas. Thanks for making our gardens so enjoyable to spend time in.

•A special shout out to all the gardeners who came to Hilltop to place them all throughout. It is a huge job that we so appreciate volunteers taking on this task.

•Daffodils to Sunny Chibas for always donating to Hilltop House residents. We really appreciate you making our FIRST picnic of the season, a memorable one

•Daffodils to Bonnie Golaiy and crew that made the interdisciplinary week a super special one!
