Santa makes an appearance at the Sea to Sky Gondola’s snowy summit this Christmas Eve.

He’ll arrive at 10:30 a.m.


 

Legion potluck party

 

The Squamish Legion is having a Christmas Potluck Party. There will be a Christmas potluck dinner following our weekly meat draw. Bring down your favourite party dish and join the festivities. On Dec. 22 6 p.m. at the Legion.

Squamish has some of the most prolific hiking and walking groups that you can find in any community.
With three clubs dedicated to trekking through the outdoors, you’ll find plenty to do if getting around on two feet is your preferred method of transportation.

- Over the Hill Hikers meet this week on Dec. 25. Ray Peters Trail. Meet 9 a.m. at Don Ross. Details at 604-815-8561.

- The Tantalus Walking Group will take a break on Dec. 25. Merry Christmas!

 

The group will take a walk at Brackendale Dike on Dec. 27. Meet at Fisherman’s Park at end of Judd Road.
