Want to learn more about the life-cycle of chum salmon? (Video)

The goal of the film — which will be shown in schools — is to foster an interest in and care for salmon, which are so economically, socially, and environmentally crucial in B.C.

Conservationist Bob Turner's latest video about salmon features the Squamish River.

The film is a collaboration with the Salmon in the Classroom program run by Fisheries and Oceans Canada and its education co-ordinator, Bev Bowler.

It tells the story of the life cycle of salmon and is tailored to curricula taught in B.C. schools.

The goal is to foster an interest and care for these fish, which are so economically, socially, and environmentally crucial in this province, Turner said.
