Delicious local food, a beautiful setting and time spent with like-minded people: that is the idea behind the Squamish CAN Farm to Table dinner.

The second annual long-table meal that is a fundraiser for the volunteer-run Squamish CAN is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11 at the picturesque Squamish Valley Hop Company Farm.

The multi-course feast will include local, seasonal ingredients from farms in the Sea to Sky and Pacific Northwest, crafted by Pemberton’s Chef John Ferris and the team from The Collective Kitchen.

There will also be a silent auction, live entertainment, and dancing under the stars.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Squamish CAN’s community projects including, the Mamquam Edible Schoolyard, achieving zero waste, reducing our dependency on fossil fuels, as well as gardening and food skills workshops.
