Young writers and artists have the chance fly in a helicopter over Squamish with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
To win this prize, children aged 6 to 12 years old must submit an original write-up or piece of art portraying “What Christmas Means to Me” by noon on Dec. 7 by emailing it to [email protected] or submitted it to their school for pick-up.
The three lucky winners gets to fly over Squamish with Santa and his wife on a Blackcomb helicopter on Saturday, Dec. 15. They leave from the Squamish Airport and return for hot chocolate and cookies, as well as photos with Santa by Double Shutter Images.
Volunteer contest
The Spirit if Giving Contest recognizes Squamish youth, aged 13 to 25, who show commitment to volunteering in the community. The winners will also be taken on a flight over Squamish with Blackcomb Helicopters on Dec. 15.
Entries can be submitted to [email protected] by noon on Dec. 7. You can nominate yourself or someone else. Include your name, age, phone number and details about volunteer history.
