It is just up the hill, but some people may not know much about Squamish's Quest University. For them, this event may be just the thing.

Families and prospective students are invited to explore the Squamish campus on Saturday, Oct. 13

Visitors can take sample classes, tour the campus and speak to staff and students

The open house runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Visitors will get to "go behind-the-scenes at Canada's first independent, secular, not-for-profit liberal arts and sciences university, and learn why Quest is leading the way in redesigning post-secondary education," reads a press release about the event.

"You can learn about our unique program, including the advantages of the block plan, sample the student experience, and meet faculty and staff while exploring one of Canada's most beautiful campuses," said the director of admissions Trevor Mannion in a press release.

Visitors also get to sample the new "All-You-Care-To-Eat" dining model in the renovated Quest cafeteria.
