Black Swade will be rocking out for massive crowds at the Whistler Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival, the annual celebration of music, arts, sports and culture occurring this year from April 13 to 22.

The young up-and-coming local band wants to invite their hometown fans to join them Monday (April 16) at 2:30 p.m. on the mainstage at Skier's Plaza.

The band opens with Jagua, who plays at 3:15, for the main act, Tokyo Police Club, who follow the fest with an act on the David Letterman Show.

Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival showcases 50 bands, major pro ski and snowboard competitions, legendary arts events and endless nightlife.

Anchoring the festival, live music reverberates throughout Whistler Village and up onto the slopes, turning the mountains into the ultimate ampitheatre.
