Squamish Chamber of Commerce January business bulletin

Have Your Say! Squamish Chamber launches pulse surveys for members.
Christopher Fehr, the current Executive Director of the Chamber.

Christopher Fehr, the current Executive Director of the Chamber, has resigned and is transitioning from the role in early spring. The vacancy was advertised on our website and various other platforms with the application deadline on January 19th. The Board of Directors will be responsible for the application process and interviews to select a new Executive Director.

Notwithstanding the recent changes, the Chamber is venturing into an exhilarating new chapter in 2024, armed with inventive and adaptable strategies designed to actively involve the Squamish business community. Our main objective for the year is cultivating fresh relationships and reinforcing existing ties within our member base. The improved onboarding process ensures that new members have a transparent and succinct route to comprehend their member benefits, coupled with accessible marketing opportunities at their disposal.

We want to hear from you! We are launching a series of Pulse Surveys focusing on key community themes. Each survey consists of four to five straightforward questions about your needs, preferences, or experiences as a Squamish member. These surveys play a crucial role in shaping Chamber programs and your input further assists in guiding our advocacy efforts on behalf of the business community's needs. Pulse Surveys can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages or you can subscribe to our weekly Newsletter.

Upcoming events include monthly Après 5 networking sessions, numerous Squamish Business Blueprint panel discussions, and a Lunch & Learn featuring MLA Jordan Sturdy presenting the BC Provincial Budget. Stay tuned for our sell-out event, the Annual Ron Anderson Golf Tournament in June of this year!
