90 km/h wind gusts, temperature drop forecast for Squamish

Wind chill of nearly -20 degrees is expected for Squamish tonight and tomorrow morning, according to Environment Canada.

Strong wind is forecast to blow 50 kilometres an hour with gusts of 80 km/h. This evening, the wind is expected to increase to 70 km/h with gusts of 90 km/h.

Any outdoor activity exposes you to frostbite, Environment Canada warns. If outside, dress warmly in layers and cover as much skin as possible. Be aware of the possibility of falling branches and power lines.
