His friends are likely going to toast his success with a round of beer. Jeff Oldenborger, the owner of A-Frame Brewing Company, took home some winning hardware at the 2018 Douglas College Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, held Thursday, April 26. Oldenborger is this year’s award recipient in the Construction/Manufacturing Category. He was also a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category, according to a Douglas College press release.
Nominees were selected on the basis of five criteria: business achievements, product and service differentiators, marketing and operational strategies, community service and revenue. Two finalists and one winner were recognized in seven award categories, including overall Entrepreneur of the Year.
The awards were held at the Hard Rock Casino, in Vancouver.
