May volunteers have been working hard this week to ensure the annual Hilltop House garage and bake sale is a success when it is held tomorrow (June 3) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. There is an in-house raffle with some nifty prizes to be won and coffee and goodies will also be available. Donations of baked goods can be taken to HTH tonight or before the sale tomorrow morning. Your support is greatly appreciated as it means the Hilltop House Support Society can purchase items that will benefit all the residents.

It falls on the same day but I am sure the big garage sale at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park tomorrow (June 3) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be well attended. It starts off with a pancake and sausage breakfast by the Squamish Lions Club for $4 per person. After breakfast, enjoy browsing through the tables of crafts, garage sale items and Wild Turkey Nursery plants. All proceeds will go to the historical restoration projects at the Park including the restoration of a troop sleeper car that will house the history of the Pacific Great Eastern and British Columbia Railway.

There is a book sale at the Squamish Public Library tomorrow (June 3) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday (June 4) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
