Squamish could be getting yet another place to break a sweat, as a development that may include a fitness facility has been given the go-ahead.
Two new buildings will be going up at the industrial park, following council’s approval.
At its last council meeting of 2018, municipal council authorized a development permit to Corona Excavations Ltd. to construct the two-storey light industrial structures on 39359 Queens Way.
Up to seven separate light industrial units will be included, with an option for a mezzanine in each unit.
The applicant has floated the idea of housing a fitness facility somewhere in the mix.
Other proposed uses include warehousing, servicing, and manufacturing.
