It might be a good day to keep at least smaller furry friends inside. Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the B.C. coast, including Squamish.
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or already underway.
A ridge of high pressure over the B.C. Interior, in combination with an area of low pressure off the coast, will produce strong outflow winds of 90 km/h later tonight and Wednesday. Outflow winds through Howe Sound will reach 70 km/h early Wednesday morning. The winds are expected to ease Wednesday night as the systems weaken, Environment Canada says.
There's a chance of rain and maybe snow flurries over the next few days.
But at least it is brighter in the mornings since Daylight Savings has ended, right?
