As April begins, so does BC Assessment's mission to update their residential property photos around Squamish.
The photos will be used for property assessments, but will only be taken from a public street in front of a home. The street address number will be included.
While they drive through Squamish neighbourhoods, BC Assessment employees will not retain any information including images of people on the property, business signs, signs of names, or something that would identify the people living there. License plates will not be included, nor photos of the inside of a residence.
BC Assessment expects to finish by the end of May.
