Changes are coming to the local bus schedulee.

Among the bigger changes, a new route servicing the Quest University area (Route 9 Quest University) will provide hourly weekday service starting in September.

In June a new pilot project will also connect buses to provincial parks. The 5 South parks transit service will run from downtown to Shannon Falls, the Sea to Sky Gondola and the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park.

Other changes coming in September include:
Route 1 Brackendale will now use the highway between Brennan Park and Garibaldi Village to save time on the trip. An additional "school overload" trip is being added to the schedule to help with overcrowding.

A minor route-change will affect Route 2 Highlands, which will now turn east off Government at Mamquam.

Route 4 Tantalus will be replaced by Route 4 Garibaldi Express, which will run at peak times and connect the northern part of the highway to downtown. The bus will travel between downtown and Garibaldi Village, and again from Garibaldi Village to the Dowad Drive highway exit.

The changes will begin in September. Changes to routes, moving bus stops, schedule reprints and driver training will take place this summer.
