Capilano college support workers ratified their employee contract on Tuesday (April 11) in an agreement that will see them "through to the Olympics."

The Canadian Office and Professional Employees Union Local 378 represents the 300 support staff workers at the Capilano College campuses in North Vancouver, Squamish, and the Sunshine Coast.

The workers were 93 per cent in favour of accepting the 51-month contract. Terms were not disclosed.

"The College is pleased that the agreement was completed prior to the expiry [June 30] and with a long term that will provide stability through to the Olympics," said Mike Arbogast, vice president of Human Resources at Capilano College.
