Squamish residents will have to wait a couple more days to see whether E.T. finds his way home.
Because of poor weather, the Cinema Under the Stars event that had been planned on Thursday, (Aug. 29) has been moved to Saturday (Aug. 31).
The outdoor movie event will now be screened on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Pavilion Park in downtown Squamish. Organizers noted that if the rain continues to pour, Saturday's event will move to the Brennan Park Recreation Centre.
The free event, Cinema Under the Stars, is a part of the District of Squamish's downtown transformation initiative which aims to pump life into the community's heart.
