The District of Squamish is set to dish out cash from its piggy bank to local charities.
The municipality is calling for organizations hoping to get a piece of the Community Enhancement Grant pie to submit applications by Friday, Oct. 4. Once a year requests from not-for-profit organizations in Squamish are gathered. They then go to council for final approval.
Applications should be delivered to municipal hall at 37955 Second Ave. and will be stamped upon receipt. Applicants may be asked to appear before council as part of the 2014 budget process. No tentative dates have been set.
