Maurice Freitag, a candidate for the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District's board seat in Electoral Area D, has lived in the Squamish area for the past 14 years, including the past four in Britannia Beach. Because of a reporting error, incorrect information about Freitag's length of residency appeared in an article titled "Five seeking to represent Area D" that appeared in the Oct. 21 edition of The Chief.
The Chief regrets the error.
