Darts and Daffodils

Community

Truckloads of daffodils to the young adults who stole my stereo and then had a change of heart and gave it back. Your choice will get you far, thanks for listening to your conscience.

A half-century of daffodils to "The Shifters" for their awesome music, Alain for the fabulous birthday cake, the Squamish Valley Golf & Country Club for their wonderful hospitality and to all our family and friends for helping to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday.

A tire full of darts to the dirt bikers who ride along and destroy such trails as the Woodpecker Trail.

Trucks filled with daffodils for the HSSS 2005 grads for working so hard delivering bags of compost on Saturday. You all did an awesome job!

Compost area co-ordinators

Compost bags filled with daffodils to Janet Kindree for such a great job organizing the compost fundraiser for Grad 2005. You made it all happen!

The Grads and area co-ordinators

Daffodils to all the Kidney Foundation volunteers for the March canvassing drive. Your hard work and commitment make it a success. Many thanks to our supporters for their generosity.

A Spam can full of daffodils to Sea to Sky Hotel for lending us rehearsal space. Thanks also to Billie's Bouquet and Eagle Run Coffee for their support.

Between Shifts Theatre

A pub full of daffodils to the Cliffside Pub and its wonderful staff for your generosity in supplying coffee to the firefighters, and for supporting the team of Squamish Emergency Program members who were able to set up an area inside your building, which assisted in providing a warm and comfortable place to make arrangements for alternate accommodation for those victims displaced by the fire. Thank you for being an outstanding corporate citizen in a time of need.

Fire Chief Ray Saurette

Darts to last week's "lover" and "lovee" for using a family newspaper to advertise your obvious lack of taste. Next time keep it to yourselves and out of the headlines.
