Dirt bikes stolen from home on Magnolia

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate two dirt bikes that were stolen from a home on Magnolia Crescent, in Valleycliffe, on Friday.

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate two dirt bikes that were stolen from a home on Magnolia Crescent, in Valleycliffe, on Friday.

One of the dirt bikes is described as a custom two-stroke, black and green with gold rims and a Monster energy drink decal, according to the RCMP. The second dirt bike is a youth, blue and white bike with a Yamaha 80cc engine. It has a heart-shaped decal on the front.

There has been an increase in thefts both from homes and yards in the last number of months, according to a Squamish RCMP news release.

Homeowners are reminded to lock houses, sheds and cars.
