Earthquake rumbles Squamish

A 3.6 earthquake hit Squamish on Saturday (Feb. 14).

It wasn't just the beds that were rocking on Valentine's Day in Squamish.

According to the USGS, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake centered approximately 12 kilometres west of Vancouver occurred at approximately 8:12 p.m. and was felt all throughout town. Earthquakes Canada measured a 3.6 quake about 26 km northwest of Sechelt. There has been no reported damage in Squamish. Keep reading The Squamish Chief for more.
