As always, drivers should be on the lookout for wildlife on the highway.
Toby Matkowski took these shots of elk he saw behind the Sandman Hotel in the fields adjacent to Highway 99 Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.. The herd included three bulls and five or six cows, he said, and they seemed to be heading toward the Sea to Sky Highway.
