You can shake your shimmy, massage your aches or generally heal was ails you at this weekend's Health and Wellness Expo.The event, which takes place on Saturday (Nov. 4) at Totem Hall, will allow visitors to try a host of exotic treatments, from reiki and reflexology to Nia and Belly Dancing to herbs and Feng shui in the home.

"It will be a nice relaxing day," said community developer Karen Clark.Local Nia teacher Linda Dupuis said: "Women all come out of the courses with a big smile on their face. The women I taught to on the Sunshine Coast were usually in their 50s and 60s, many of them lost a lot of weight, they were fit, confident in their movement and gained flexibility and strength."

Herbalist Sarah Orlowski will guide participant through the realm of plants and their properties during a slideshow on medicinal plants for women's health at 2:30 pm. She will touch menstrual cycle, pregnancy and menopausal herbs.

If you like to move to the rhythm, do not miss the Belly Dancing workshop at 3:30 p.m. with Florence Tetrault.
