The Squamish Chamber of Commerce has released the finalists for this year’s Business Excellence Awards.
Over 100 nominations were received in the four-week nomination period, according to a news release from the chamber. The winners will be announced at the awards gala on Dec. 1 at Quest University. Each category had three finalists.
The finalists for Large Business of the Year are Climb On Equipment, The Squamish Connector and A-Frame Brewing.
The finalists for Small Business of the Year include Euphoria Natural Health, Soave Distributing and Van Urban Timber.
The finalists for New Business of the Year are The Little Book Shop, Grateful Gift Shop and Garibaldi Eye Care.
The finalists for Workplace of the Year include Stark Architecture, Atwell Dental and Sky High Cannabis.
The finalists for Community Builder of the Year are Howe Sound Women’s Centre, Pride Squamish and Squamish Helping Hands.
The finalists for Business Person of the Year are David Arnot of Stark Architecture, TAG Panels and ALBA Distribution; Kirby Brown of the Sea to Sky Gondola; and Roxana Dees of Euphoria Natural health.
The finalists for Green Business of the Year are Nexii Building Solutions, GotCans Recycling and Eco Living Club.
The finalists for Business Innovation are Penny AI, 7mesh Industries and Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic.
The finalists for Bill Manson Citizen of the Year include Carl Halvorson, Sativa the Diva – Chris Cook and Karen Vanzella.
Lastly, the finalists for Young Entrepreneur of the Year are Sarah Goodman of Chiwis Chips, Theodora Jean of Coldwater Communications and Nadine Manson of Bewildher.
After the winners are announced at the awards gala, there will be an after-party with live entertainment.
