Squamish Fire Rescue quickly put out a fire in the BC Rail Yards Monday night.
Sirens were first heard at about 8 p.m. as firefighters were on their way to the fire near 39400 Government Road.
“We are at the scene of a small fire within an industrial building at the BC Rail properties," Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Foote said by email at 8 :30 p.m.
"The fire is knocked down and we are currently venting the smoke from the building."
According to Foote, there were no injuries to anyone on the small night shift crew that was working at the time of the fire.
