Squamish Fire Rescue Service (SFRS) officials are inviting the community to an open house to mark Fire Safety Week this weekend.
The event, which takes place on Sunday (Oct. 6) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Firehall No. 2 at 40439 Tantalus Road, will include tours of the firehall, demonstrations of firefighting equipment including a fire hose, a "fire safety house," a bouncy castle, food and drink and more. Admission is free.
