Flora Ferraro has been named VP finance and operations

A former financial manager for Whistler Blackcomb — now known as Vail Resorts — has taken a leadership role at Quest University.

Flora Ferraro was named as VP finance and operations for the school on Feb. 21.

She will be overseeing all financial and operational aspects of the University, including facilities, IT, HR and security.

“We are very pleased to welcome Ms. Ferraro to Quest,” said Quest president and vice-chancellor George Iwama, in a news release. “Her leadership, experience with aligning resources with strategic direction, and dedication to the Sea-to-Sky community will support our University’s academic mission as we move into our second decade.”

Ferraro was previously vice president of finance at Whistler Blackcomb.

She has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of B.C. and obtained her certified general accountant certification from CGA Association of British Columbia.
