Want to have a say in how policing happens in Squamish?

Now’s your chance.

The Sea to Sky RCMP is requesting the public’s input into the Policing Strategic Plan for 2021-2023 for those who live within the regions of: Bowen Island, Lions Bay, Furry Creek, Britannia Beach, Squamish area, Whistler, and Pemberton.

As a result of the pandemic, their consultation is happening online via a survey.

"As we are unable to conduct in-person consultation due to the pandemic, we developed an online alternative in order to continue engagement and consultation while maintaining safety" stated acting inspector Gareth Bradley in a news release.

"The goal is to receive input from all communities within Sea to Sky as well as a variety of agencies and stakeholders that have a part to play in public safety. This online tool will be among the first steps toward constructing the 2022-2024 Sea to Sky RCMP Strategic Plan."
