Hwy. 99 update

There will be a traffic pattern change late in the week of Feb. 20 to 26 at Charles Creek (3 km south of Lions Bay) along Hwy. 99.

Feb. 25 and 26 road surface repair and material excavation will continue between Sunset Beach and Lions Bay. Evening delays of up to 15 minutes continue to the end of February between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., beginning Sunday at 11 p.m. and ending Friday at 5 a.m.

Beginning 12:01 a.m. on March 1 there will be 30-minute delays from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until 6 a.m March 4.

Delays at all other times will be limited to 5 minutes. Traffic pattern and the construction speed zone remain in effect.

Additional minor delays along the Sea-to-Sky Highway may be required for maintenance and other work.
