Sea to Sky School District officials this week named Rick Ikebuchi as the district's new secretary-treasurer.
Ikebuchi, who replaces the recently retired John Hetherington, has held senior management positions in several industries including Shell Canada and Western Star Trucks, officials said in a statement issued on Monday (May 27).
"Rick brings a solid operational perspective to the district which incorporates all areas of business, including overseeing finance, information technology, legal operations, labour relations as well as operational and capital planning," officials said.
Ikebuchi is set to assume his new duties beginning on Monday (June 3).
